"Valverde's missed penalty? We all fail here"

Madrid started the Club World Cup with a draw against Al Hilal (1-1). The white team could not do anything to get the three points and Valverde had a chance from the penalty spot in stoppage time. Gonzalo Garcia, the scorer of the only ‘Merengue’ goal, spoke to ‘DAZN’ after the match and shared his thoughts.
"We wanted the victory, to start with a good result and we fought until the end, we tried, but Al Hilal did well. The point will be positive, after what's left, I'm sure," began saying the canterano, elected ‘MVP’ of the match.
"Valverde's missed penalty? It's a pity. But we all fail here, I'm the first one, I had several chances. It doesn't matter, Fede will score the rest of the penalties. It was a pity, but we're looking forward to the other two matches," he said.
Finally, Gonzalo García explained how he experienced his first start. "It is always a privilege to play for Madrid. I've been here since I was a kid and to be able to play here... and score in my first start... it's absolutely incredible", he concluded.
