Unsuccessful meeting: Xavi and Al Sadd to meet again on Friday

Barcelona have their sights set on signing Xavi Hernandez as coach and, despite negotiating terms with Al Sadd, it seems that the Catalan side is planning to pay the coach's buyout clause if the talks do not come to fruition.
A possibility that, as the hours go by, is gaining more and more strength and is seen on the horizon as the only possibility of the team from Barcelona to get the services of the manager from Terrassa.
In fact, according to 'AS', Xavi Hernandez met with the owner of Al Sadd on the afternoon of Thursday 4th November to try to facilitate his departure to the club of his life, but the talk between the parties left nothing sealed.
The information indicates that, despite the progress made in the last few hours, both Xavi and the Qatari team's president agreed to finish discussing and dealing with all the issues regarding his departure on Friday morning.
Xavi is said to have mentioned in the meeting the release pact between the parties in case Barcelona demanded the services of the manager. An agreement that was made difficult by the absence of Joan Laporta in the negotiations in Qatar, which made Al Sadd itself feel bad.
Despite this, the Catalan coach is confident that the situation will finally be resolved amicably, although time is running out and, if everything is not settled in the next few hours, Barca will pay the five million euros of his buyout clause to acquire his services.
