Approximately two months ago Brandon Williams, in a show of boldness, stated his desire to start for Manchester United next season. The young full back, who was on loan at Norwich City, made it clear to the 'canaries' that he would not stay with them for the long term. His wish and goal is to return to Old Trafford and become a starter.
"Next year I want to play for Manchester United as a left back, that's my job. That's my focus because it's my life and I will do whatever I can to make this happen. I know that I can play in this league - the Premier League - I know that I can be one of the best and I want to do this", the defender commented.
Upon returning to the 'red devils', this was not the case. According to 'The Sun', Erik ten Hag transfer listed Williams, since he is not in his plans for next season. United have listed him for 12 million euros.
This is not an unreasonable price for a player who has an interesting background in the Premier League at just 21 years of age. During the 2019/20 season, he made 17 appearances for United, starting 11 of these. He also played 29 games for Norwich last season.
