United ask West Ham for 35 million for Lingard

West Ham are interested in reopening negotiations to buy the 28-year-old England international Jesse Lingard, who spent the last six months on loan from Manchester United. 

But according to 'The Athletic', the 'Red Devils' have no intention of letting their player leave easily. In fact, they have asked for around 35 million euros for his transfer. 

With West Ham, Lingard played 16 official matches, all of them as a starter, and found the net nine times. A United homegrown player, Lingard has spent a whopping ten seasons in the first team at Old Trafford, making 210 appearances and scoring 33 goals.
