Treble-chasing City look to get their hands on Guerreiro

Manchester City are keeping one eye on the future of Pep Guardiola's projects as the summer transfer window approaches. Before we get there though, the English side are focused on the very real possiblility of winning themselves a historic treble, having already secured the Premier League and FA Cup.
Looking ahead to the transfer window, 'The Sun' reported on Sunday that the Cityzens are interested in the future of Raphael Guerreiro. The Portuguese defender becomes a free agent this summer, as Dortmund did not renew his contract, and his time in Germany may have drawn to an end.
The signing would also be a very strategic one for City. It would allow them to send defender Sergio Gomez off to Vincent Kompany's newly-promoted Burnley.
Guerreiro leaves a Dortmund side that have already found his replacement: Ramy Bensebaini. The deal is all but official. The Portuguese footballer leaves his German club seven seasons after his arrival from Lorient.
The '13' put away six goals and provided 14 assists over the course of the season. Being a free agent now - coming with a transfer fee of 0 - and with impressive abilities both on the left side and in the centre of the field make him an attractive target for Pep Guardiola.
