Tottenham v Rochdale - Preview and possible line-ups

Tottenham:

Spurs are no stranger to FA Cup replays, in fact, they've emerged victorious in their last eight. With a crucial Champions League tie against Juventus just a week away, boss Mauricio Pochettino might well treat this cup tie as a training game. 

With Toby Alderweireld (hamstring) and Jan Vertonghen (ankle) sidelined, Tottenham are expected to rely on Davinson Sánchez and Juan Foyth to keep the door shut at the back. 

Rochdale:

David is set to go toe to toe with Goliath for a second time. It's a special day for the League One side who don't get Wembley outtings often and will be excited to make the most of the grand occasion. Can they pull off an upset? Well, as they showed last time round, it would be foolish to rule them out... 

A number of loan players are cup-tied for Rochdale. Manager Keith Hill is likely to field the same XI that earned this momentous replay after securing a deserved 2-2 draw at home. 

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino: 

"We are going to rotate some players to give [them] the possibility to play. They are in a good level and then we are going to play again on Saturday."

Rochdale manager Keith Hill:

"The lads have to treat it to a certain degree like we're a Premier League side playing against Tottenham. We're going to have to be brave, take our opportunities and have a little bit of luck."

Did you know?

The last time the Dale took a top-division side to a replay in the FA Cup was in 1976. They were forced to face Norwich three times but were ultimately knocked out.

Tottenham: Vorm; Trippier; Foyth, Sanchez, Rose, Sissoko, Dier, Lucas, Winks, Son, Llorente. 

Rochdale: Lillis, McGahey, McNulty, Delaney, Camps, Rafferty, Kitching, Cannon, Done, Humphrys, Henderson. 

The winner of this replay will go on to face Swansea City in the quarter-finals.
