"This referee called 53 fouls on us... I didn't really understand the criteria"

FC Barcelona and Spanish Olympic football team centre-back Eric Garcia said of the 3-0 win over Japan in the quarter-finals of the Olympic Games that they were very good in the second half.
"We are very happy. We knew it was going to be a very difficult match. That's how it was, especially in the first half, when we played more like they wanted to play. Then, in the second half, we were very good, bringing out the game we have," he said in the mixed zone after the match.
"Obviously we know the quality we have. We've always known that. We've come from pre-season, we're getting better every game and now it's Morocco," he added.
Eric Garcia criticised the Mauritanian referee Beida Dahane. "This referee called 53 fouls on us in the first game, I didn't understand the criteria either... but the important thing is the victory," he declared.
"I don't know what he blew, just imagine," he said of Japan's disallowed for a millimetre offside in the 40th minute, with the score at 1-1.
