"There's no doubt Robert is the N1" - Maresca settles Chelsea goal debate

Chelsea are preparing for a tough trip to St James Park to face Newcastle in the last 16 of the Carabao Cup. Starting in goal against the Magpies will be Filip Jorgensen, who has been in goal for the Blues in both the Carabao Cup and Conference League. 

The good performances of the Danish goalkeeper, who has kept two clean sheets in five games this season so far, has led to debate as to whether he should be Chelsea's first choice goalkeeper instead of Robert Sanchez. 

The Spanish keeper is the Blues' regular first-choice goalkeeper in the Premier League, having made nine appearances so far this season, having kept the same clean sheets as Jorgensen in four more appearances. However, Maresca is clear that the Dane is not close to taking Sanchez's place. 

" No. At the moment, the N1 is Robert Sanchez. At the moment, there is no doubt Robert is the N1. Filip is doing fantastic in the Carabao Cup, the Conference League," he told the 'Daily Mail'.
