OFFICIAL: Theo Hernández signs for Al-Hilal SFC

After six seasons, Theo Hernández's adventure with AC Milan is coming to an end. The announcement of his departure had been in the air for several days and it is now official: the French full-back is joining Al-Hilal SFC.
According to reports, the transfer has been completed for a fee of around 25 million euros, allowing the Rossoneri to make a capital gain on the 20 million invested in 2019 to sign him from Real Madrid.
The Saudi club opened talks with player's representatives at the end of the Club World Cup. Their key objective was to integrate him in time for this competition, but Theo's hesitations then stalled the operation.
Finally, as the days went by, the player finally gave the green light. He will now receive 20 million euros per season for three years, which is three times what he earned at Milan.
The Frenchman leaves Milan after establishing himself as one of the best full-backs in the world. He played 262 official matches, scoring 34 goals and providing 38 assists. His honours with Milan include a Scudetto, an Italian Super Cup, as well as a Champions League semi-final reached in 2023.
A new chapter is therefore opening for Theo Hernández, who is joining the ambitious project of Al-Hilal SFC, coached by Simone Inzaghi.
