The starlet at the centre of a transfer tug-of-war

Despite having already agreed a mega-money move for Vinicius, Real Madrid are continuing their search for the best young South American talent ahead of the January transfer window.
One such player that has caught their eye is Palmeiras' Alan Souza. Real's scouts have been significantly impressed by what they have seen from the midfielder, so much so that they already have a verbal agreement in place with the diminutive playmaker.
However, 'Los Blancos' are not alone in realising the younster's talent, with a throng of Premier League giants also circling the 17-year-old.
According to English publication 'The Sun', Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal are all seriously interested in Alan and could attempt to hijak his prospective move to the Bernabeu.
For now though, Palmeiras are not looking to allow thier top talent to leave the club and have slapped a €50m release clause in his contract in order to attempt to ward off interest from Europe.
Given the explosion in the transfer market in recent times, that amount could still be paid by a European side, especially considering Real will pay €45m for Vinicius, but it is unlikely that anyone will invoke Alan's clause at this moment in time.
