The problem that Álvaro Fernández can now forget

Álvaro Fernández can now forget the problem that has been on his mind for the last three years. The goalkeeper has been told the result of his trial from CAS about his payment to Osasuna.

He left in the Summer of 2017for Monaco, where he didn't manage to break into the first team and never even made an appearance. Osasuna said that he broke his contract because they had a clause enabling them to automatically renew it. Álvaro has always maintained his innocence.

'Marca' has reported that CAS have given their judgement to the keeper and he will not have to pay the 10 million euros compensation that Osasuna had demanded up to now.

Since then, Álvaro has spent time at Extremadura and found his new home at SD Huesca, where he played 36 games last season.
