The La Masia goalkeeper which Barca will opt for

The new times will force Barcelona to look towards La Masia again. It's not that they have neglected the youth system in recent years, but it has had less prominence than it was used to with Luis Enrique and his successors.

With regards to the goalkeeping situation, Barca are thinking about opting for Arnau Tenas. The goalkeeper, who is a Spanish youth team international, has been standing out in the Barcelona youth system for several years.

Arnau Tenas has played for the youth team in the Youth League and Barcelona hold him in high regard. He is expected to move up to the B team, and be the starting goalkeeper soon, and this is a step before his first team arrival.

Although Ter Stegen is and will be the undisputed starter for quite a few years, the idea is between Iñaki Peña and Arnau Tenas fight for the starting spot at the Camp Nou in the years ahead.

For that reason, Neto now isn't undisputed and Barca are considering letting him go to free up a big wage for a replacement and, incidentally, give more importance to the youth system.

Iñaki Peña, who will renew soon, will become the 2nd choice keeper if the Brazilian leaves and Arnau Tena will be promoted to the B team. He is a young goalkeeper with great agility and enormous leadership ability.

That characteristic, indispensable to be able to succeed in the Barcelona goals, could begin to show at Barca B next season, as the idea is that Iñaki Peña moves up to the first team completely and Lazar Carevic, the other youth team goalkeeper, will leave the team.
