The controversial image: did Henrichs upset Lunin when Sesko's goal was disallowed?

A great match between RB Leipzig and Real Madrid to kick off the Champions League round of 16. It was a duel that started in a frenetic manner and, two minutes into the game, the home side took the lead on the scoreboard.

However, the goal ended up not getting on the scoreboard, as Irfan Peljto, the referee of the match, pointed out that it was offside. However, everyone's hands were on their heads, as Sesko, who was the one who shot at goal, was in a clear legal position, as Rodrygo was pinned in the penalty area after the corner kick.

However, before the ball reached the Slovenian's head, the Cypriot referee interpreted otherwise. Henrichs, who was also hanging on after the corner, stayed behind Lunin, so at the moment of the rebound, the referee interpreted that the RB Leipzig midfielder bothered Lunin just enough to not be able to intervene in the play.

The images confirmed this, although what caught the attention of the home side was that their player made a minimal movement, without hindering the white goalkeeper at any time. Therefore, we are talking about a play that was interpreted by the referee and which could perfectly well have been reviewed on the VAR monitor.
