The apology of Chicharito: "I know I haven't been at my best"

One of the big disappointments of 2020 is Chicharito. The Mexican has not lived up to expectations after signing for Los Angeles Galaxy, a team that expected a lot from him.

In just 10 matches, the striker has scored one goal and on top of which he has scored an own goal. A lot was expected from him and the player himself asked for forgiveness on his social media.

After the defeat against Portland Timbers, Chicharito broke his silence with the following message.

"I know I haven't been at my best. But I'm already working harder than ever on a personal and football level to give back with results all that confidence they have placed in me. I understand the responsibility I have", read part of the statement from the ex-Manchester United player.
