Ter Stegen closer to return from serious knee injury

One of the hardest blows Barcelona received this season was when Marc-Andre Ter Stegen suffered a serious knee injury against Villarreal in September that has kept him out of action for more than six months.
The 'Cules' managed to bring Wojciech Szczesny out of retirement and the Pole is doing very well in goal for the 'Cules', to the point of remaining unbeaten since making his debut for the Catalan side.
However, most Barcelona fans are still eagerly awaiting the return of what has been the 'Cules' first choice goalkeeper for years, a return that seems to be getting closer and closer.
Ter Stegen has made good progress in his rehabilitation process to the point of having already completed the initial part of the training session with the rest of the squad on Monday. Rumours have emerged in recent days that the German goalkeeper could play in the Champions League final should the Catalans qualify for it.
