Tense atmosphere at Napoli as Osimhen did not greet his teammates

Victor Osimhen remains in the eye of the storm sweeping Napoli these days. The Nigerian striker is at loggerheads with the club and vice versa. He showed his anger with Rudi Garcia when he was substituted against Bologna after missing a penalty, while the club uploaded a video on Tik Tok mocking their striker. 

On Wednesday, the latest development in this tense relationship took place. The striker arrived at the team's hotel ahead of the match against Udinese in the midweek Serie A fixture.

All the spotlights were on him, as well as a camera that captured the moment of his arrival. Several teammates were standing on the entrance stairs when Osimhen appeared.

He shook hands with Santoro, Napoli's team manager, but walked past the players. In fact, Diego Demme even extended his hand to shake hands with the Nigerian, but he did not reciprocate. The look on the faces of several of those present, as you can see in the video, says it all.
