Hungary's UEFA Nations League clash with Turkey took a heated turn as Liverpool's Dominik Szoboszlai and Real Madrid's Arda Guler were involved in a tense exchange. The Hungarian midfielder didn't hold back after the Real Madrid youngster taunted him during the match.

The Hungarian captain simply replied with "1088" – the exact number of minutes Guler has played for Real Madrid across all competitions.

The remark was widely interpreted as a subtle jab at the Turkish playmaker's limited game time since joining Los Blancos in 2023.

Despite making 43 appearances for Madrid, Guler has featured mainly from the bench, scoring nine goals so far. His talent is undeniable, but breaking into the starting XI has proved a challenge, something Szoboszlai seemed to highlight with his comment.
