Sulemana to Saints for €25m; Zabarnyi at Bournemouth for €23m

The Premier League were the main players in the January transfer window. The English league were the ones to make practically all of the big deals and new multi-million pound deals are still being announced.
On Wednesday 1st February, Southampton announced that Kamaldeen Sulemana had joined, who signed a four and a half year deal until June 2027.
The Ghanan international's transfer was completed on the last day of the window, after Southampton came to an agreement with Rennes for €25 million.

The other club which has strengthened is Bournemouth. In the final hours of the window, Illia Zabarnyi joined the English side after they came to an agreement with Dinamo Kiev worth €23 million.
Zabarnyi has signed a five and a half year deal with his new club meaning he has committed himself to playing at the Vitality Stadium until 30th June 2028.
The 20 year old Ukranian centre-back became the Cherries' fifth signing after Dango Ouattara, Darren Randolph, Antoine Semenyo y Matías Viña all arrived.
