Suicide the cause of ex-player Mrdakovic's death

Ex-Serbian player Miljan Mrdakovic, ex-Partizan player, who was found dead in a Belgrade flat with a bullet in the head, committed suicide. This is according to various Serbian media on Sunday.
The newspaper 'Kurir' says that the ex-forward, who was 38, committed suicide in a rented flat which he lived in with his girlfriend.
Mrdakovic started his career in the Southern Serbian city of Nis, where he then moved to Partizan.
He played for more than a dozen clubs, amongst them Anderlecht and Gent in Belgium, Salzburg, Maccabi Tel Aviv, and the Serbian sides of Vojvodina, Rad and OFK Beograd, who he played 48 matches for and scored 24 goals, and ended his career in 2017.
He played 9 matches with Serbia u21s and 3 matches for Serbia at the 2008 Olympics.
The newspaper 'Novosti' indicates that Mrdakovic has a 16-year-old son, who also plays football.
