Sturridge, a target for Aston Villa

The ex-Liverpool footballer is not going through his best moment. And the thing is Sturridge is banned for giving inside information to his brother Leon telling him he should bet on Daniel Sturridge moving to Sevilla. 

That has not prevented Aston Villa from focussing on the ex-Liverpool attacker, according to 'The Mirror'. Dean Smith apparently thinks Sturridge would be a great addition to his side. 

Sturridge was one of the players who did not make Jurgen Klopp's cut for the 2019-20 season. The Englishman kept playing less and less for the Reds. His signing for Aston Villa would be beneficial for all parties. At the moment, Sturridge will not be able to play until the end of July although the ban could be further extended.
