Spurs reject Bayern's €100m Kane offer

With less than a week to go before the Premier League 2023-24 starts, Harry Kane is looking more and more likely to be a part of it. Tottenham have turned down Bayern Munich's latest offer for the England striker, report 'The Athletic'.

This was the Germans' third offer, after they had bids rejected in June and July, and it was believed that this offer was final. Bayern would not come knocking again. 

Despite Spurs believing there to still be a gap in valuation for the striker, the Bundesliga side's last offer was over €100 million, with add-ons. It was delivered with a deadline of midnight on Friday, but the London side disregarded this.

Kane is entering the last year of his contract in north London, and having refused Bayern, there is now the very real possibility that the 30-year-old will walk for free next summer, if Spurs can't get him to renew.

They included him in their pre-season tour, and the club are gearing up to open their league season against Brentford on August 13th. Following a 5-1 win in a friendly against Shakhtar Donestsk over the weeekend - which saw Kane put away four - manager Ange Postecoglou acknowledged that he was in "open dialogue" with the striker.
