Spurs defeated 4-1 by Girona in friendly

Mauricio Pochettino fielded a young side in Spain, as star players Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Hugo Lloris all missed out. 

Brazilian winger Lucas Moura opened the scoring with a free-kick, but Girona outclassed Spurs from then onwards.

Manchester City loanee Aleix Garcia scored for the Spanish side alongside Juanpe, Anthony Lozano and Portu. 

Spurs begin their Premier League season at St James' Park against Newcastle United next Saturday and is yet to make a signing in this summer's transfer window.
