Spinazzola tears Achilles tendon: 'Sky Sport'

Terrible luck for Leonardo Spinazzola during Italy's win over Belgium. The Roma footballer has been one of the best players at the Euros for Italy, going down the left flank and he has been in defence as well.
He was doing brilliantly against Belgium until the 76th minutes. At that moment, the full-back went off injured while running for the ball with Thorgan Hazard. Initially, everyone was shocked as he standing up, but he was not moving. However, everyone soon realised how serious it was.
He went down on the field of play and his tears revealed two things. Firstly, that he was in some pain, and secondly that he will miss the rest of the tournament including the semi-final against Spain. He had to leave the field of play on a stretcher.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that according to 'Sky Sport', Spinazzola has torn his Achilles tendon and will be out for many months.
