Spinazzola, in Rome to see if he has torn his Achilles

Italian full-back Leonardo Spinazzola flew to Rome this Saturday to undergo physical examinations to check whether he suffered a torn Achilles tendon after he was stretchered off against Belgium.
Spinazzola had been one of Italy's most exciting players at the Euro 2020, was forced off in tears this Friday as his side went on to a 2-1 victory in Munich. The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) informed that the first medical checks revealed "signs of an injury to the Achilles tendon":
The Roma left-back received many messages wishing him well from his teammates, who were chanting his name in the return flight from Munich to Florence, alongside a message from FIGC president Gabriele Gravina.
"I'm so sorry for Spinazzola because he was bringing so much to this team. I wish him all the best because not only is he a great professional, but also a great person", Gravina said.
If the injury to his Achilles tendon is confirmed, Spinazzola will leave the Italy camp and will stay in the capital to lay out his recovery plan with the doctors.
