Southampton and Fulham competing to sign Tottenham youngster

Tottenham's academy is seeing promising young talents come through it, but it is difficult to get regular playing time in the first team. That is why the likes of Troy Parrott and Oliver Skipp are being sent on loan.
The latter is without doubt one of Spurs' top young players. The Englishman is just 19 and he made his debut last season under Pochettino. This season he has also played sometimes under Jose Mourinho, but he needs more regular game time to keep on growing.
Skipp is not going to be short of offers. He signed a new contract until 2024 back in the middle of July. According to the 'London Evening Standard, two clubs have asked about him and are ready to put in a large bid for him: Southampton and Fulham.
Fulham are reportedly the front runners to sign the midfielder on loan although it all depends on them getting promoted to the Premier League. Fulham face Brentford in the Championship play-off final on Tuesday at 20:45 CET.
