Sommer delivered: he sent De Ligt chocolate

Bayern Munich had a great night against PSG in the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie, a match that ended 2-0 but could have had a different outcome had it not been for De Ligt, who saved a goal in the first 45 minutes from the visitors on the same line.

Yan Sommer, after the match, conceded that his team-mate saved him and promised to send him a truckload of Swiss chocolate. The goalkeeper kept his word and sent up to 700 kilos to the Bavarian club's facilities for the Dutchman.

However, Bayern, according to 'TZ', refused to let their player receive the chocolate and prevented the vehicle from entering. Instead of returning it to its sender, the German club suggested the idea of donating it to charity.

Steffen Horak, a volunteer at the Munchner Tafel association, wanted to thank the German institution: "We didn't know what was behind it, only that it came from Bayern.
