Shevchenko's 20-year Ukraine record broken

Andriy Shevchenko’s 20-year-old record for Ukraine has been broken by FC Ufa midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko.
The former face of Ukrainian forward became the national team's youngest ever goalscorer back in May 1996, when he found the net against Turkey aged 19 years and 214 days.
However, on Sunday FC Ufa's youngster Zinchenko scored in Ukraine's 4-3 victory over Romania aged 19 years and 165 days to snatch the record off his compatriot.
ZInchenko has been heavily linked with a move to Bunsedliga giants Borussia Dortmund this season after impressing for his relegation threatened Russian side.
The 19-year-old has been battling a minor injury ahead of the Euro's this summer, but is likely to make the final squad.
