Sheriff's decisive goal was 89th minute Thill screamer!

After an incredible second half which was a Real Madrid siege, Sheriff Tiraspol pulled off a miracle at the Santiago Bernabeu. 

The team from Tranistria were not disheartened by Karim Benzema's VAR penalty which made it 1-1 and they kept on defending well.

When it looked like it was going to be a draw, Sheriff once again went ahead out of the blue. 

The team from Tiraspol took a throw-in, Real Madrid were caught sleeping and the loose ball fell to Sebastien Thill who, without hesitation, struck the ball towards goal.

The ball went into Courtois' top corner and the Belgian was left for dead. It was a superb goal which gave Sheriff a 1-2 victory at the Bernabeu.
