Sevilla and Betis restore relations ahead of La Liga derby

This incident prompted Sevilla to sever all communication with their city rivals. However, Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido Carrasco has confirmed that he will attend the upcoming derby at Benito Villamarin and will sit alongside Betis president Angel Haro.
Both clubs have agreed to establish a new framework for communication, ensuring that derbies are played solely on the pitch and avoiding any inappropriate conduct.
Del Nido Carrasco stated: "This framework is for the present and the future, to play derbies with honest communication, free of improper conduct, and to work together on matters that benefit both clubs."
The Sevilla president also emphasised the significance of the reconciliation, highlighting the responsibility both clubs bear in a city as dual as Seville.
Despite Betis arriving at the derby with five consecutive wins, Del Nido Carrasco expressed: "With the utmost respect, we arrive full of excitement, ambition and ready to fight for the win, dedicating the victory to our supporters."
