Sergi Roberto in Spain squad to replace injured Carvajal

There is a change in the Spain squad for the matches in October. Dani Carvajal was picked, but he got injured on the same day that Luis Enrique called him up and Sergi Roberto takes his place. The replacement is officially confirmed.

The Real Madrid full-back suffered a ligament problem in his right knee at training on the same day that his national team manager called him up. It's unknown how long he will be out for.

A Barcelona player who is quite in form takes his place. He has started the championship as a starter under Ronald Koeman and he even scored in his latest league match which was against Celta Vigo. Versatile and safe bet for the national team.
