Scott Carson to start for City again aged 36!

Scott Carson has received a pleasant surprise at Man City. The 36 year-old goalie who is third choice at Man City is there more to pass his experience on to the younger players than anything else. 

However, this weekend, he will get a game because he is needed. He is set to start in the trip to Leicester City on Saturday. 

First choice Ederson will not be able to play as FIFA imposed a five day ban on him as Man City did not release players for CONMEBOL qualifiers. The ban means he cannot play next weekend. 

Steffan, the back up goalie, is also unavailable as he tested positive for coronavirus during his time in the USA camp. Those two things mean that he is set to start. The last time he started was at the back end of last season when Man City won 3-4 in a crazy match at Newcastle.
