Sanabria signs for Torino and tests positive for coronavirus

Sanabria has joined Torino until 30th June 2025. The deal will cost seven million euros, according to 'ABC'. The former Real Betis player made 20 appearances for the La Liga side this season. He is returning to Italy to try and get more game time. Sanabria has already played for Genoa, Roma and Sassuolo in Italy.
He will have to wait to make his debut though because he has tested positive in his first PCR test. The Italian side confirmed that in an official statement. They also said he is asymptomatic and is self-isolating. He will continue to do so until he tests negative twice.
"Tests have revealed that the player is positive for coronavirus. He has not had any contact with the team," the statement reads."
Fortunately for his coach, he has been playing recently so missing 10 days of action will not be a big problem for him. In January, he took part in several games under Manuel Pellegrini.
