Ryan Reynolds' Wrexham AFC target Christian Eriksen as marquee signing

Wrexham AFC are aiming to make a statement on their arrival in the second tier of English football. After a fairytale journey, from the National League to the Championship, the club owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are targeting Christian Eriksen.
The Dane is out of contract with Manchester United and, after his collapse at Euro 2020 where he came close to death, he has struggled to rediscover his previous form.
Therefore, Wrexham AFC want the Dane to be the face of their historic season in the Championship, according to the 'BBC'.
"It's an enormously impressive project," Martin Schoots, Eriksen's agent, told the 'Daily Mail'. However, the move appears unlikely: "Christian Eriksen still wants to play in a top-level competition and definitely wants to stay in Europe."
