RUMOURS: Man City plotting Badstuber bid

Bayern Munich defender Holger Badstuber is a January transfer target for Manchester City, according to ESPN FC.

Pep Guardiola is expected to bring in reinforcements at the back now that the window of opportunity has re-opened.

City have been breached 21 times in 19 Premier League fixtures this season, with no side in the top six having conceded more.

Experienced Germany international Badstuber is a player well known to Guardiola from his time in charge at the Allianz Arena, and the 27-year-old could be available for a cut-price fee as he is due to be out of contract in the summer.
