Ronaldo levelled late for Real

Williams had given Bilbao the lead in the first half with a delightful chip, and for long periods Real never looked like having an answer to it. 

However, in the 87th minute, came salvation. Luka Modric shot from the edge of the box and Ronaldo was on hand to direct it home. 

It was a backheel effort that came from pure instinct. It remains to be seen if Modric's initial shot would have gone in anyway, but Real Madrid fans will not care. 

On a personal level, it continued Ronaldo's extraordinary scoring streak - he has now scored in his last 12 games and has 22 goals in that time.
