AS Roma could land Palmeiras' Richard Rios for €30m. EFE

In the last few hours contacts have intensified between Palmeiras and Roma for the signing of Richard Rios. According to the 'Gazzetta dello Sport', the Italians are preparing an offer of 30 million euros, leaving behind rivals such as Porto, Fiorentina and Atletico Madrid for the player.

The Club World Cup has been a good showcase for Richard Rios. The Colombian, one of Palmeiras' key players, could leave the 'Verdao' shortly after their elimination and head to Europe. Specifically to Italy, where Roma are working on signing him.

The 'Gazzetta dello Sport' reports that contacts between the clubs intensified late on Tuesday and that Roma will make a first firm offer. This will be estimated at 30 million euros, including bonus. A step ahead of rivals such as Porto, Fiorentina and Atletico.
