Rodrygo absent from Real Madrid squad to face Celta Vigo

Carlo Ancelotti's side go into the match further depleted as Rodrygo joins the growing list of absentees.

According to Sergio Quirante on DAZN, the forward is suffering from a fever and has therefore been left out of the squad announced by the club earlier in the day.

His absence compounds Madrid's defensive crisis, with multiple injuries already leaving the back line severely weakened. As a result, Ancelotti has called up youth players Yusi and Jacobo Ramon to bolster the squad.
