Chants of "Gibraltar is Spanish" have taken their toll on Spanish national team players Alvaro Morata and Rodrigo Hernandez. Both have been handed one-match suspensions by UEFA after an investigation was opened at the request of the Gibraltar Football Association, which called the comments "unacceptable".
