'RMC': Mendy having medical at Real Madrid

'RMC', through Mohamed Bouhafsi, has confirmed that Ferland Mendy, the Lyon player, is having a medical in France before signing for Real Madrid. 

'RMC' say that Real Madrid have travelled to Clairefontaine, where the French footballer is at the moment. 

Although Lyon denied on Tuesday that the deal had been done, everything seems to indicate that the signing of the fullback for Real Madrid will be done imminently. 

'AS' had hinted that the defender would cost around 55 million euros and that like Militao and Jovic, he would sign for the Spanish giants until 2025. 

The fullback would arrive in the Spanish capital as a reliable back up for Marcelo, with the intention of starting at left back in the future. His arrival would mean Sergio Reguilon would leave. 

Last Tuesday, the prestigious paper 'L'Equipe' announced the medical, which forced Lyon to deny it. Now, it seems like the medical tests are genuinely taking place ahead of his move to Spain.
