River Plate raise Mastantuono's clause to 45 million amid Madrid interest

The playmaker Franco Mastantuono is just 16 years old and is already impressing in the Argentinian league. He is already on the radars of several top teams in Europe and Real Madrid have him on their list of talents to watch.

River Plate are aware of how little time Mastantuono could last in the squad if they don't make a quick move. That's why, according to 'Ole', the 'Millonario' is already thinking about offering him a new contract to improve his current one, which expires in 2025.

The club is offering him a contract until 2026 and, in order to prevent the big clubs from taking him, or at least that he doesn't leave for free, his clause will go up to 45 million euros, which is the highest in Argentinian football. 'Ole' points out that, in the last days of the transfer market, this would rise to 50 million, thus preventing him from leaving at the last minute.

Mastantuono has played just nine games for River Plate so far this season, starting three. He has already scored a goal and in Argentina it is clear that he is going to succeed.

In addition to Real Madrid, other clubs such as PSG and Barca have also been mentioned as possible destinations for the talented player. Meanwhile, at River, they are turning a deaf ear to these siren songs and hope that the new deal would be enough to keep him as long as possible.
