REVEALED: Demba Ba's first question after receiving general anaesthesia

Demba Ba would have been forgiven if he was more concerned about himself than his team after he received medical treatment for his broken leg. However, it has been revealed that his team was the first thing on his mind when he left the oprating theatre. 

“Did we win the game?” he asked medical staff. 

As for the striker's injury, it will rule him out for at least eight months, but the Senegalese international may never play football again according to his coach. 

The Chinese Super League club's manager Gregorio Manzano also admitted that he would have preferred to lose the game than seen Ba suffer such a horrific injury. 

"I would rather lose the game than lose Ba. God is unfair. Ba is too good to have this happened to him,” he said.
