Rennes agree deal with Barca for Mika Faye

The moves at ‘Can Barca’ continue and it is only a matter of hours before Mika Faye's departure is sealed. The promising 20-year-old centre-back, who is still in the dynamic of the first team, will be heading to France.

According to ‘Mundo Deportivo’, the Senegalese will sign for Rennes, who will pay an amount close to 11 million euros plus 4 million euros in add-ons. The club will also keep 30% of a future sale, as well as an option to buy him back for 25 million euros to be executed in the next two seasons. He will sign for 4 seasons.

Faye left a good impression after he arrived at the club. Last season, in the reserve team, he was a regular starter in Rafa Marquez's scheme and established himself as one of the best centre-backs in the category.

The player also had offers from Porto, PSV and Eintracht, among others. This Friday he will say goodbye to his teammates and will travel to France to undergo the relevant medical examination.
