Reims and Romao go their separate ways

Reims confirmed an unexpected loss in their squad. The French club announced the termination of Alaixys Romao's contract, the centre-back who was at the club for two years.

The club confirmed that the termination was a mutual agreement, and the Togolese international had asked to leave the club for personal reasons.

"Thanks to Stade Reims for these two seasons. I discovered a very professional, family-run club. I wish them all the best for the future. I thank all the staff who work every day. Now it's time to move on to another project", the player assured on his social media.
