Real Madrid win 2019-20 La Liga title

Madrid have sealed their 34th La Liga title after the win on Thursday. Madrid have managed to keep up their 100% record after the break caused by COVID-19 and are the champions of Spain.
The win also marks Zidane's second La Liga title in charge of the club. He previously won it in 2016-17.
Los Blancos were desperate to take the title away from their eternal rivals Barcelona who were going for three in a row, but Barca's inconsistency since the resumption of La Liga was capitalised on by a Madrid side that have won their second trophy of the season.
The win was in large part thanks to Karim Benzema who is the side's top scorer. However, Ramos also chipped in by scoring 10 goals so far this campaign. Courtois also had a large part to play as he has made many key saves throughout the season and has only conceded four goals since the resumption.
However, despite the win, Madrid announced that they will not go to their usual Plaza de Cibeles to celebrate the win. With there being no fans permitted to matches either, the Madridstas will have to celebrate the joyful occasion at home.
Madrid are still going strong in the Champions League but have to overturn their last 16 tie against Manchester City.
