Real Madrid expected to go all the way, says Kaka

The 2007 Ballon d'Or winner, who spent four seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu, spoke to FIFA ahead of the tournament, which kicks off on 14 June in the United States. "For Real Madrid, there is no other option but to win. The expectations placed on the club are always the same," he said.
"In every competition they participate in, Real Madrid are expected to reach the final and come out as champions," Kaka added.
The Brazilian, who came through the ranks at Sao Paulo, lifted the Club World Cup with AC Milan in 2007 after defeating Boca Juniors in the final. Despite his ties to Milan and his roots in Brazil, Kaka declared himself a Madridista and pledged his full support to the Spanish side.
"I hope Real Madrid can go as far as possible, reach the final and, of course, have the chance to win the inaugural edition and make history once again," he said, referring to the revamped format of the tournament.
