Real Madrid again considering loan move for Reinier

Yet another summer, Madrid don't know what to do with Reinier. The striker was a gamble on the future when the Brazilians Vinicius and Rodrygo arrived, but 100% success is impossible in transfers. Although a wide variety of destinations have been sought for him, the former Flamengo man has not managed to make a name for himself in European football.

The player from Brasilia arrived at Real Madrid in January 2020 and joined Real Madrid Castilla, but he only had time to play three games before the COVID pandemic began. He was signed at the age of 18 and is now 22, but he has not yet been able to make his debut with the first team, nor has he been called up to the official squad or taken part in friendlies. He has spent the last four seasons on loan.

For the club, Reinier is a B team player and has therefore started pre-season training with Real Madrid Castilla. Although he was expected to be with Courtois, Lunin, Alaba, Lucas, Fran Garcia, Vallejo, Ceballos and Brahim this week, the Brazilian started training again under the orders of Raul Gonzalez. However, this will be temporary.

According to ‘AS’, the Merengues' intention is for Reinier to go out on loan again. The club regretted it because he cost 30 million euros and there were high hopes that he would perform, but he failed to explode. He spent two years on loan at Borussia Dortmund, then Girona, and from there to Frosinone, but without success.
