Ravel Morrison set to have Lazio contract terminated

According to 'Il Messagero', Morrison could be leaving the Eternal City in the next few days after failing to impress during his time at the Stadio Olimpico. 

Morrison came through the academy at Manchester United alongside the likes of Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard, before disciplinary issues saw him leave Old Trafford. He then moved to West Ham before signing for Lazio in July 2015. 

Sir Alex Ferguson questioned his attitude when he left Manchester United, and it looks as if the problems have remained at Lazio. 

"A brilliant footballer. Brilliant ability. Top class ability. Needs to get away from Manchester and start a new life," Ferguson said when West Ham made their move for a player widely regarded as one of the best ever to come through Carrington. 

Since joining the Italian outfit, he has been loaned to QPR and Mexican side Atlas, but on his return the club are likely to let him leave for free before his contract expires at the end of the season.
