Rashford scores first goal for Barcelona in Daegu rout

The England international, who arrived this summer alongside fellow marquee signing Joan Garcia, came off the bench to make an instant impact. Preferred starter Raphinha began on the right wing, but Rashford replaced him in the second half and took full advantage of his opportunity.

The goal arrived through a flowing team move. With Daegu pinned deep in their own half, Pedri played a clever ball into Roony Bardghji, who fed Eric Garcia on the overlap. The right-back, now firmly established as Jules Kounde's understudy, whipped in a pinpoint low cross to the far post, where Rashford was waiting.
