Ramos to get operation

Zinedine Zidane will have to continue without Sergio Ramos. The French manager must start to think about playing without the captain for a longer period because his discomfort isn't disappearing.
Sergio Ramos got injured again and didn't train on Friday due to the injury that isn't letting him return to the playing field and, so much so, that the doctors have re-examined his knee.
According to what 'COPE' journalist Miguel Ángel Díaz has been able to find out, the Real Madrid centre-back and the club have taken the decision for the player to undergo surgery to completely put an end to these problems. In fact, it has been Real Madrid themselves that have recommended him to undergo surgery.
So Sergio Ramos will be treated on the meniscus of the left knee on Saturday, so he will have to face a longer period of time out to recover from surgery and strengthen the knee again.
This means that the defender will be out between 6 and 7 weeks, so he will not make the knockout-tie against Atalanta in the Champions League nor the league games against SD Huesca, Getafe, Valencia, Valladolid, Real Sociedad, Atlético, Elche and Celta. He has already missed the games against Alcoyano, Alavés and Levante. However, Ramos would be back for the Champions League quarter-finals.
Zidane will also not be able to count on Dani Carvajal, Lucas Vázquez, Fede Valverde, Eden Hazard and Rodrygo Goes, although Nacho completed his second training. For now, Real Madrid haven't officially informed about this next operation on Sergio Ramos.
