A World Cup is a party, not only for the players but also for the fans. The organising country earns a lot more money throughout the tournament, and of course, beer is one of the most in-demand products.
However, this is year is different because it is in a muslim country, where selling and consuming alcohol is banned. However, there will be an exception made in Qatar, mostly because of the multi-million pound deal between FIFA and Budweiser, the main sponsor of the World Cup.
But not everything will be smooth sailing, as the consumption as well as sales will be strictly controlled. You will only be able to get it in the stadium's surroundings once the doors are opened and one hour after the end.
What is more, the company in charge of it, AB InBev, was informed that they need to move the stalls to more discreet places around the cities.
